An Air Hygiene Log-book will be provided and is a straightforward way of keeping up to date with your necessary Air Hygiene requirements and provides a hard record of services as backup protection.
All persons with responsibility for ensuring the health of the occupants of the building should have one. Including:
Facilities Management Departments
Property Management Companies
Building Owners and Landlords
It affects all those with a duty of care in regard to the Due Diligence aspect of responsible building management relating to the air side of operations.
WHAT PROTECTION DOES IT OFFER ME?
Having an (AHL) for your building means that you ensure you comply with the necessary regulations and Health & Safety Laws, and there is an increasing general awareness of the responsibility and requirements for managing your air hygiene.
The B&ES (Building & Engineering Services Association) SFG group is promoting the log-books as necessary items to ensure compliance to regulations and laws.
